iN PHOTOS: Kamloops in bloom, finally

KAMLOOPS – The sidewalks and parks were crawling with pedestrians today, April 28, and for good reason. The temperature reached a pleasant and certainly welcome 17 Celsius.

Things are starting to bloom and locals are finally starting to enjoy the warm weather expected at this time of year. Kamloops has a decent weekend forecast and why not enjoy a few outdoor activities and have some fun in the sun?

Catch the famer’s market on Saturday, April 29. Regional farmers gather in the 200 block of St. Paul Street and Stuart Wood schoolyard from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Green Living Expo is taking over the Sandman Centre on Saturday, April 29. The event features speakers, workshops, free yoga classes and a food truck festival. View the full schedule on the event website.

The annual Boogie the Bridge race is taking place on Sunday, April 30 at 8:30 a.m. There are also secondary events like race registration, expo vendors and route chalking surrounding the race on Friday and Saturday. Check the Boogie the Bridge website for the full schedule.
