Winter is here and while the valley bottoms in the Thompson-Okanagan region don't have much snow, if any, there are snowy sceneries to see and enjoy in the higher elevations.

Some of these photos of frozen lakes and ponds, frost covered grasses and snow-capped trees taken in the region look like paintings or Christmas cards, and bring the beauty of a new winter season into focus.

The team at iNFOnews.ca appreciates your photo submissions, if you have one to share, send it to news@infonews.ca.
