The cameras came out at night as photographers in the Okanagan and Kamloops captured incredible shots of this year's harvest moon.
This weekend has been a delight for skywatchers and photographers with the harvest moon appearing full from about Thursday evening into this morning, Sunday, Sept. 11.

Also known as the fruit or barley moon, among other names around the world, the harvest moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, according to Nasa.
It got its name because during harvest time it takes a shorter time for moons to rise each night allowing farmers to work late by moonlight during harvest season.
