Penticton is expected to be sizzling this weekend as the Peach City Beach Cruise and the Northwest Penticton Elvis Festival take place under predicted hot and sunny skies

PENTICTON - The Peach city is heating up in more ways than one this weekend as two major events at the same time temperatures expected to soar into the high 30s.
The Penticton Elvis Festival runs June 26 to 28 for the 14th year, as Elvis fans come from all over to celebrate the “King of Rock and Roll.”
Dozens of tribute artists are expected to take part in the three day festival which takes place in several outdoor venues located along the city’s Okanagan Lake shoreline.

The Peach City Beach Cruise also takes place in Penticton this weekend, from June 26 to June 28.
Gyro Park, Rotary Park, Lakawanna Park and Lakeshore Drive are the locations for the viewing of hundreds of classic and collector cars. All makes and models are welcome to the event, which includes a Friday afternoon, June 26, wine tour, a parade of cars down Main Street on Friday evening and live entertainment.

Weekend temperatures in Penticton are predicted to climb as high as 39 Celsius by Sunday, with no rain in the forecast.
