A horse was shot and killed in rural Salmon Arm earlier this month and the RCMP are asking for helping identifying the person responsible.
Officers responded to a report a horse had been shot and killed on Oct. 9 at the 800-block of Grandview Bench Road, according to a media release.
“We are working closely with the B.C. SPCA in the investigation but need public assistance to help advance it,” Salmon Arm RCMP detachment commander Staff Sgt. Scott West said in the release.

“If you were in the 800-block of Grandview Bench Road between Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 9 and have any information which may help with this investigation, we are asking you to call us.”
