Police probe double homicide after couple found dead in south Vancouver home

September 28, 2017 - 4:54 PM

Vancouver police say they are investigating a double homicide after the bodies of a man and a woman in their 60s were found in a home on Wednesday.

Const. Jason Doucette says investigators have not yet determined a motive for the killings.

Police were called to the home in the Marpole neighbourhood around 1:30 p.m. to check on the well being of the residents.

Doucette says police and the coroner's service were working to confirm the identities of the victims and notify relatives.

Police are also looking for a 2014 White Kia Soul associated with the victim's home.

Anyone who spots the missing Kia with the B.C. licence plate ACK 605 is asked to contact police and not approach the vehicle.
