Home invasion in Kamloops sends one to hospital

KAMLOOPS -  Police are investigating a home invasion that took place last night in Kamloops.

Four male suspects forced their way into a home and assaulted the occupants with bear mace and a baton, a media release says.

Kamloops RCMP were called to the scene in the 100 block of Yew Street on the North Shore at 8:30 p.m.

One victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and he was taken to hospital.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about this incident to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
