KELOWNA, B.C. - Carter Rigby had three goals and two assists to lead the Kelowna Rockets to their 20th straight win at home, 8-0 over the Seattle Thunderbirds in WHL action on Thursday night.
Linemates J.T. Barnett, with four assists, and Colton Heffley, with one goal and three assists, also had big games for Kelowna. Dylan McKinlay, Jesse Lees, Colton Sissons and Tyson Baillie also scored for the Rockets (35-10-2-1), who had period leads of 3-0 and 6-0. Kelowna has not lost at home since Oct. 10.
Jordon Cooke made 18 saves for the Rockets to earn his fourth shutout of the season.
Seattle's Brandon Glover stopped 16 of 21 shots before getting pulled early in the second period after Kelowna made it 5-0. Danny Mumaugh stopped 12 shots in relief, as the Thunderbirds (18-28-3) suffered their 10th straight loss on the road.
