REGINA - The Regina Pats took a 3-0 lead into the third period and then hung on to beat the visiting Saskatoon Blades 4-3 in Western Hockey League action on Friday night at the Brandt Centre.
Aleksey Chichkin, Caden Brown, Dayton Deschamps and Zach Moore scored for the Pats (8-17-3-2), who were outshot 27-26, including 14-9 in the final period.
Isaac Poll, Ben Riche and Tyler Parr scored for the East Division-leading Blades (17-9-2-2). Brandon Lisowsky chipped in with two assists.
The teams were tied 0-0 after the first period and the Pats took a 3-0 lead into the third.
