WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets have recalled goaltender Eddie Pasquale from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Backup netminder Al Montoya started Tuesday night's 3-2 home loss to Philadelphia, but couldn't finish due to injury.

Ondrej Pavelec, who was sidelined with the flu Saturday in Ottawa, replaced Montoya against the Flyers.

The 22-year-old Pasquale has played in 36 games for the IceCaps this season.

He has a 14-19-2 record, 2.63 goals-against average and .912 save percentage.

The IceCaps have had to call up goaltender Chris Carrozzi from the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.
