The southern Interior is expected to see thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon including heavy rain and strong winds.
Environment Canada is warning residents across the Thompson and Okanagan regions a cold front will sweep across the BC Interior, bringing gusty winds and storms tomorrow, June 13.
The special weather statement also includes the Shuswap, Nicola, Similkameen and Boundary regions, according to Environment Canada.
The regions may see around 15 to 25 millimetres of rain and wind gusts up to 60 km/h. Much of the Interior is at risk for thunderstorms, beginning late tomorrow afternoon.
The weather statement continues into Wednesday and spans as far north as the Peace region and south to the Kootenay and Boundary regions, according to Environment Canada.
