QUOTES:
TRU interim head coach Mike Hawkins (1st year):

On match:
“"There were a lot of good elements to our game tonight despite the 0-3 result. Our issue was the untimely errors or the lapses in judgement at the wrong times, and the Heat capitalized. Do their credit, UBCO played impressively defensively throughout the match and earned the victory"

"Anton (Napolitano, 1st year, outside, Victoria, Australia) came in to set in the 3rd set and did a great job. We've been training him more seriously as a setter the past few weeks and he's developed quickly in practice and displayed that in the match. It's not an easy for position for him to come into, but he was composed and the other guys were excellent in supporting him."

UP NEXT:

TRU finishes the regular season the following weekend (Feb 24-25) in Saskatoon, SK against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.
The Heat will entertain the MacEwan University Griffins in Kelowna.
