Do you think your pet has star quality? Now is your chance to win them a spot in the BC SPCA’s 2021 calendar.

“Our animals bring us so much comfort and laughter during these difficult times,” Tess Repenning, senior manger of digital giving for the BC SPCA, said in a media release. “Our annual calendar contest is a way to not only celebrate your pet but to help raise urgently needed funds for homeless, abused and injured animals who desperately need our care.”

The BC SPCA helped nearly 4,200 domestic, farm and wild animals last year through cruelty investigations, sheltering, adoption, emergency veterinary care and rehabilitation.

To participate, upload a picture of your pet and their information to the Calendar Contest website, and invite friends and family to donate in support of your fur baby.

The 13 animals, one for each month and the cover, with the most votes by April 30, 2020, will be selected for the calendar.

“This is something people can do entirely from home,” Repenning said. “By sharing a great photo of their pet they’ll also be putting a smile on the faces of their family and friends, all for a great cause.”
