Canadian Music Award winning singer-songwriter Gord Bamford is making stops in Penticton and Kamloops as part of his cross Canada #REDNEK music fest tour next year.

The show will feature a broad range of homegrown country music artists including some of the latest emerging acts in Canada.

Along with Bamford will be JUNO award winner Jess Moskaluke, Andrew Hyatt, Cory Marks, Duane Steele, Eric Ethridge, Ghost Boy and Jolo Mason.

The tour begins Feb. 21, 2020, at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops with tickets for the Kamloops and Penticton shows going on sale Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m.

The Penticton show takes place at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday, March 27, 2020.

Bamford is the 2019-2020 recipient of the MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award, which recognizes individuals who have had an extraordinary impact on music education. The tour coincides with Bamford’s latest single, “To Get To You.”

His previous single, #REDNEK provided the inspiration for the tour.

“I’ve always wanted to do a travelling festival where you can hear a great variety of music. I want to hit as many towns in this country as possible,” he says.

Tickets for the Penticton show are available in person at the Valley First Box Office at the events centre, charge by phone at 1-877-763-2849, or order online at www.ValleyFirstTix.com

Tickets for the Kamloops show can be purchased at the Ticketmaster website, or at ticketoffices.com, or boxofficetickets.com
