KAMLOOPS - It's a french fry fiasco.
The owner of a local poutine shop is asking for the public's help in locating his stolen food truck.
Frenchies Poutinerie dishes out gravy-covered creations at various events in the city through the re-vamped trailer that took “countless hours” to customize.
A post on Facebook says the trailer was stolen from downtown, and just before a long weekend of serving folks. According to the post, several thousand pounds of potatoes were cut and prepared for the weekend.
Frenchies Poutinerie is a locally owned restaurant in downtown Kamloops, and the extravagant poutines have become a local favourite.
According to a comment on the post by the business, the trailer was spotted by three people in Salmo, B.C. yesterday, but it couldn't be located.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of the trailer, contact RCMP.
