Don’t expect to see much sun this week in Kamloops and the Okanagan.
There is a glimmer of hope for a bit of sunshine in Kamloops on Tuesday and Wednesday but the Okanagan forecast is for cloudy skies all week with a chance of rain or flurries.
Highs are expected to only get to 2 Celsius most days in the North and Central Okanagan with overnight lows of -1 C to -3 C. There’s a 30% chance of snow on Wednesday, rising to 60-70% later in the week.
Penticton is forecast to be warmer with a high of 4 C today, dropping to 0 C by Wednesday.
The Environment Canada online forecast for Kamloops shows highs of 2 C today, Dec. 11 and Tuesday, rising to 4 C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Overnight lows in Kamloops range from -2 C tonight up to 0 C on Wednesday with a 30-60% chance of snow or rain starting on Wednesday.
Normal high temperatures for this time of year are just above freezing with overnight lows of -3 C to – 6 C.
Cloudy skies are forecast to continue through the weekend.
