Kelowna RCMP are asking for help finding a man who sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl last night.

The girl was waiting for a friend on the 200 block of Hollywood Rd. near Hwy. 33 in Rutland when she was approached by an unknown man. He talked with her for a moment before offering his hand in greeting. When the girl reached out to shake his hand, he pulled her hand down to touch his genitals.

The girl fled and the man may have followed her for a short distance. She escaped otherwise unharmed.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, reporting online at www.crimestoppers.net or texting to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
