KAMLOOPS - Christmas activities abound in Kamloops this weekend.

Thinking about having an adult's night out? If so, the Kamloops Heritage Railway is presenting 'Adults Only' Spirit of Christmas. You can try mulled wine and delectable chocolate ganache before hopping aboard the train to see how Kamloops sparkles at night. 

Until Dec. 21 you can enjoy the exhibition of Osvaldo Ramirez Castillo, a Vancouver-based artist, at the Arnica Artist-Run Centre. Admission is free. Click here for more information.

How about some Mixed Nuts at St. Andrews on the Square? Kamloops Choristers are putting on a holiday concert tonight, Dec. 8, which will feature special guests from the Kamloops Drum Connection. Admission is by donation and the doors open at 7 p.m. 

If you are looking to spend a fun night out on the town listening to live music Rumble 100 will play the Blue Grotto at 9 p.m. today and tomorrow.

The Woodward Christmas Tree Farm will be open daily until Dec. 22, however, on the weekends you can do more than just pick up a tree, you can also enjoy a hay wagon ride, a concession filled with holiday goodies and a crackling bonfire.  For more information, click here.

If you like sparkly things and want to check them out under a microscope or grow you own, BIG Little Science Centre is presenting Beautiful Crystals Lab tomorrow, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. 

Christmas is quickly approaching so the Centre for Seniors Information is presenting Brock Block Party and Christmas Craft Sale. It will feel like Christmas tomorrow at the Brock Shopping Centre where you can enjoy local crafts, a bake sale, Christmas carols, and pictures with Santa. 

Home Depot Winter Wonderland in Support of A Way Home Kamloops is happening tomorrow. It's free to go and it's a family-friendly event. There will be a kids' workshop to build a wooden gingerbread house and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Photos are by donation and don't forget to bring your own camera. Brewloops and Downtown Kamloops are joining the festivities this weekend with the Welcome Winter Block Party tomorrow from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. It will be an "oh-so-Canadian celebration." The theme is flannel and frost so put on your favourite plaid jacket to join the activities on Victoria Street between 3 Avenue and 4 Avenue. Click here to learn more about the event.

Want to belt out your favourite Christmas tune or rock out to a classic? Join the Central Station Pub for karaoke on Saturday until 1 a.m.

Christmas is going back to the Baroque Era with the Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra presenting a "Baroque Christmas." Tickets range from $20 for adults to $10 for students at Kamloops Live! box office and at the door.
