NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. - The body of a hiker found in North Vancouver has been identified as that of a 22-year-old German exchange student.
The B.C. Coroner's Service says Jasper Houben was reported missing on Monday and his body was found at the bottom of a steep hill on Wednesday.
The RCMP say the man died from a fall and there are no signs of foul play.
Recovery crews had to use ropes and a helicopter to lift the body out.
Houben's family had flown in from Germany to help in the search before the body was found.
