KAMLOOPS - After several weeks of gas prices hovering around 105.9 to 107.9 cents per litre, it appears some gas stations have decided it’s time for a bump.
Prices started to jump to as high as 122.9 cents per litre at several stations Monday, though many sit at about 112.9 cents per litre.
Chevron stations in Aberdeen and Valleyview were both reported at the high end of the spectrum as of Tuesday morning while a handful of stations around the city have yet to raise their prices. The lowest in the city as of Tuesday morning was Costco at 103.9 cents per litre.
Gas prices in B.C. are on an upswing as well, with the average gas price now at 122.6 cents per litre while the national average is at 109.5 cents per litre.
