VERNON - Gas prices are beginning to dip below a buck around the North Okanagan.
In Enderby, Shell and Esso are both selling a litre of regular gasoline for 99.9 cents.
The Centex gas station in Coldstream has also dipped to 99.9 cents per litre and most Salmon Arm gas stations are advertising the same price. Gas prices are following a similar trend in the South Okanagan.
According to Gas Buddy.com though, the majority of gas stations in Vernon have yet to follow suit. As of Thursday afternoon, gas prices were between 100.9 to 102.9 cents a litre at Vernon gas stations.
Depending on where you live, you might have to hunt around for the cheapest price; just don’t spend more money on gas getting there than you do buying it.
