You will have the opportunity to sample Vancouver street food at a festival in Kelowna on the August long weekend.
The organizers of the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival are holding a drive-thru festival in the parking lot at Prospera Place in Kelowna on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday Aug. 2, starting at 12 p.m. both days.
It will feature both Okanagan and Vancouver-based food trucks.
The lineup includes Surf Side California, Lemon Heaven, Ford Concessions Inc., Ogopogo Concessions, SaltSpring Concessions and REEL Mac And Cheese, according to the festival’s Facebook event page.
There will also be a take-out section for non-drivers where people may order their food and have it delivered, organizers say, and there will be a limit to 10 people at the take-out window.
Staff and vendors will be wearing personal protective equipment to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
