Fog reducing visibility on roads in Central and South Okanagan

FILE PHOTO

Fog advisories are in effect until late this morning in the Central and South Okanagan regions.

Environment Canada, which says near-zero visibility is expected or occurring due to fog, issued advisories for the Central Okanagan and South Okanagan today, Jan. 14.

Dense fog developed because of high moisture and light winds, but is expected to dissipate late in the morning.

Fog advisories are also in effect for Highway 3 from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass, and Highway 97 from Clinton to 100 Mile House.
