PENTICTON - The thieves knew what they were looking for during a business break-in yesterday in Vernon.

Police responded to a commercial alarm in the 2900 block of 31st Avenue in Vernon around 10:45 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 16, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP say officers discovered the suspect, or suspects, had gained access to a business through the front entrance, getting away with an undisclosed number of Nixon watches.

“Once inside the business, the suspects targeted a glass display case containing the watches,” Vernon RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Tania Finn said in the release.

Anyone with information regarding the incident, or the location of this merchandise, is asked to contact Const. Kress at the Vernon RCMP detachment at 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
