FMX world tour coming to Okanagan

PENTICTON - Indoor motocross action is coming to Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre next year.

The Freestyle Motocross World Tour makes a stop in Penticton on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 for an exciting night of professional competition.

The extreme action sport began in the 1990s and now tours Canada, the U.S.A., Mexico and select European countries, according to a South Okanagan Events Centre media release. Competitors participate in death-defying motocross tricks, including Superman seat grabs, Cliff Hangers, Kiss of Death, Back Flips and Super Back Flip combinations.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at ValleyFirstTix.com. Ticket prices for adults range from $19.00 to $39.00 plus fees.
