KELOWNA - Creekside Theatre in Lake Country has flooded, and it’s not related to high ground water or high lake levels.

“Due to an unfortunate sprinkler activation incident Monday afternoon the Creekside Theatre will be CLOSED until further notice,” reads a post on Facebook post.

Apparently the sprinkler system was bumped while boxes were being moved yesterday, June 19.

Although already scheduled to close for July and August for maintenance, the theatre will now be closed early due to the flooding form the sprinkler system.

“If you had booked the theatre for use over the next two weeks, the theatre manager will be in contact with you directly," the post says.
