Penticton – The Penticton Fire Department is offering Fire Extinguisher Training to interested adults.
The 30-minute training provides a basic understanding of fire safety and the use and limitations of fire extinguishers. The program fulfills WorkSafe B.C. regulations requiring staff training on how to operate fire safety equipment.
Training will be held on two days – Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday April 23 – and participants can sign up for one of the following time slots:
• 8:30 – 9 a.m.
• 9 – 9:30 a.m.
• 9:30 – 10 a.m.
• 10 – 10:30 a.m.
• 10:30 – 11 a.m.
• 11 – 11:30 a.m.
Training is held at Station 202 at 285 Dawson Ave. in Penticton. The cost of the program is $5, and groups can be accommodated.
