Fire breaks out at Salmon Arm store

SALMON ARM - The 7-Eleven in Salmon Arm erupted in flames Friday afternoon after a driver reportedly drove into the building.

A video posted to social media shows the building engulfed in flames. The Facebook user who posted the video said it happened around 2:30 p.m. today, Aug. 24.

A spokesperson for the Salmon Arm RCMP was not immediately available, but in an email, police said more details about the crash and fire would be released soon.
