Grains mostly higher, livestock lower.

Wheat for May rose 2.25 cents at 5.7125 a bushel; May. corn was off 2.75 cents at 3.46 a bushel, May oats gained 4.50 cents at $2.6550 a bushel; while May soybeans was up 1.25 cents at $8.8150 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle fell 4.50 cents at $1.0095 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle lost 4.50 cents at $1.2060 a pound; while Apr. lean hogs dropped 4.45 cents at $.5845 a pound.
