Film crew spotted shooting movie scenes on Kamloops' North Shore

A film crew hard at work shooting a scene at Bright Eye Brewing in Kamloops on August 30.

There was a hive of activity on the North Shore this morning, Aug. 30 as a film crew went to work on two locations for an upcoming movie called Rancher 101.

At around 9 a.m. a scene was being filmed on the patio of Bright Eye Brewing among little round tables with lace tablecloths and bouquets of flowers on them.

Very quickly and smoothly the camera crews, directors and actors got the shoot done, then the whole crew hustled to pack up equipment and move down the street to film in front of the North Shore Barber Shop.

One of the producers, Cjay Boisclair, was on site but was unable to give any details about the movie.

Rancher 101 is one in an ever growing list of local film productions managed by Boisclair of Askem Productions and co-producer Jeremy Kulyk of Kulyk Industries.

Last month the crew filmed a movie called A Private Affair at various locations around the city including local businesses and private homes.
