Filipino community to accept donations at Blazers game Tuesday

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting the Victoria Royals on Tuesday night. This will be the second meeting of the season between these two teams as the Blazers won the first meeting 4-3 back on Oct. 4.

The Kamloops Filipino Canadian Association will be set up on the concourse at the front entrance to accept donations after a devastating typhoon hit the Philippines last week. They will be accepting cash donations, as well as non-perishable goods such as summer clothes, soaps, toothpaste, shampoo, canned foods, hygienic goods, linen sheets, towels, etc.

Tuesday’s game is also Home Depot night as noisemakers will be handed out at the front doors. It is also Kamloops Tim Hortons breakfast sandwich giveaway. When the Blazers score their first goal of the game, every fan can redeem their ticket for FREE breakfast sandwich from Kamloops Tim Hortons by 12:00pm the next day.

Tuesday’s game is also the first rain check night of the season. Any unused season tickets can be exchanged at the box office for a free ticket.

For ticketing information in regards to season tickets or flex packs, please contact Ticketing & Promotions Coordinator, Missy Cederholm by phone at 778-471-8068 or by email at mcederholm@blazerhockey.com.
