OTTAWA - Canada Post is set to kick off the release of a special run of domestic stamps to celebrate the Grey Cup's 100th anniversary.

Eight stamps will be released Friday — one for each CFL team — along with a souvenir item that will offer all eight logo stamps on one sheet.

Canada Post also plans to release nine commemorative stamps in August.

It's one of the largest single-year issues produced by the corporation in years.

The 100th edition of the Grey Cup will be played Nov. 25 at Rogers Centre.

The CFL regular season begins Friday night.
