KAMLOOPS - The family of a man who disappeared after a house party in Sun Peaks is now offering a reward for information leading to his whereabouts.

Ryan Shtuka, 20, was last seen leaving a party on Burfield Drive in Sun Peaks in the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 17.

Despite extensive search efforts by search and rescue volunteers, civilians and police, Ryan has not been found. In the hope someone to come forward with information that may lead to finding Ryan, his family is offering a reward of $5,000.

His mother, Heather Warren Shtuka, says search and rescue crews have told her for them to come back out, there needs to be a change in the weather or a new tip.

"(Ryan's father) Scott and I cannot control the weather but we can influence the tips," Heather says.

She is hoping that anyone who may have information on Ryan's last location to come forward and provide police with the information they have.

"We are not interested in why he was there or what he was doing," Heather says. "This is not a criminal investigation. We just want to find Ryan."

Heather feels like it will take a village to find Ryan, and she's continuing to plead for more civilian volunteers to aid the search efforts at Sun Peaks.
