Dinosaurs will be taking over the South Okanagan Events Centre in May.
Jurassic Quest will turn the arena in Penticton into a dinosaur habitat, according to a SOEC media release.
The event brings a heard of life-like dinosaurs to the venue, and showcases live dino shows, hatchlings, inflatables, interactive science and art projects. For younger explorers there will be a new “Triceratots” soft play area.
There will be exhibits for the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, as well as a new showcase for ancient oceans, which features a moving, life-size, 15-metre-long Megalodon – largest apex predator that ever existed, according to the release.
