Fall-like forecast for the Okanagan this week

There's no pot of gold in this week's Okanagan forecast as valley residents can expect to see slightly improved conditions earlier in the week before rain and cool temperatures return by Thursday.

OKANAGAN - Okanagan residents can expect a slight improvement in the weather for the first few of days of the work week before a return to cooler, wetter conditions around mid-week.

The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloudy today, Sept. 17, with a high around 17 Celsius.

Tomorrow expect a cloudy morning with clearing in the afternoon and a high of approximately 18 C. On Wednesday, the weather office predicts a mix of sun and cloud with a high of about 17 C.

On Thursday through to Sunday clouds will dominate the forecast with a 40 to 70 per cent chance of showers each day and highs in the mid-teens.

The normal daytime high temperature in the Okanagan at this time of year is around 19 C.
