VERNON - Ever wanted to be in a movie?

Extras are being sought for the Second World War thriller Peace, according to a call out from casting director Sara Brown.

Peace is being produced by Enderby Entertainment. One of the company’s founding partners is Rick Dugdale, who grew up in Enderby and brought Blackway, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins to the region a couple years ago.

The feature film is shooting in Vernon and according to the casting call, extras between the ages of 18 to 60 who are available between Dec. 2 to Dec. 20 are needed.

“We are looking for military men and male and female villagers,” the ad says. Specifically, the company is looking for "European villager types".

Anyone interested is asked to send an email to peaceextras@gmail.com including their name, phone number and a clear picture of their face.

Due to the high volume of applications received, only those selected will be contacted.
