There should be more sun than clouds this week in the Thompson-Okanagan but sunny days come with chilly temperatures.
A mix of sun and cloud in the Okanagan for the earlier part of the week will see highs in Kelowna and Vernon today, Oct. 4, of 19 Celsius, with Penticton forecast by Environment Canada to hit 20 C.
As the week progresses to a sunny days forecast for Thursday and Friday throughout the Okanagan, daytime highs will drop to 13 C despite the sun with the overnight low on Friday morning down to 1 C.
The forecast for Kamloops is cloudy today with a high of 18 C then a 40% chance of showers tomorrow.
Sunny days are forecast for Kamloops for Wednesday through Friday but the highs will drop to 15 C on Wednesday and down to 13 C on Friday. Overnight Friday is likely to be the coldest night of the week at 2 C.
The Thanksgiving long weekend looks to be starting off cloudy with a 60% chance of showers in the Okanagan.
