PENTICTON - It’s time to start working that old cliché about one person’s trash being another’s treasure as an upcoming Penticton event promises to bring that well used saying to life.
The Okanagan Vintage Fair is coming to Penticton on Saturday, June 9, bringing a room full of vintage treasures in the form of collectibles, clothing, art, knick-knacks, jewellery, small furniture and vintage-inspired crafts or recycled items.
You'll be able to browse from more than 30 tables of items.
Organizers of this year’s event, located at the Shatford Centre at 760 Main St., even encourage participants to dress trashy, or least in vintage style.
Vintage music will add to the vintage atmosphere during the event, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fair will be a great place for vintage enthusiasts from all over the Okanagan to meet and find some great nostalgic, collectible or just plain old items.
You’re very likely to find that special item you weren’t even looking for.
Bring your appetite, as there will be a snack bar on site. Admission is $2.
