Evacuation alert ends for Adams Lake fire

VAVENBY - The Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre has been advised by the Wildfire Management Branch that the imminent risk of danger to life and properties due to the Adams West wildfire on Adams River at the north end Adams Lake has diminished at this time.

The Evacuation Alert issued at 1615 hours on July 21, 2015 is rescinded for six properties located at 12400, 12504, 12505, 12595, 12680 & 12685 Adams West Forest Service Road effective 1700 hours on July 23, 2015.

An Evacuation Alert or Order may need to be reissued if the risk of danger to life and property should again warrant such action.
