Virginia Woolf, Anna Nicole Smith part of 2014-15 season at London's Royal Opera House

LONDON - Many readers find Virginia Woolf's books moving. So does choreographer Wayne McGgegor, who is turning them into a ballet for Britain's Royal Opera House.

"Woolf Works," which will premiere in 2015, is based on the life and works of the early 20th-century author of "To the Lighthouse" and "Mrs. Dalloway."

Royal Ballet director Kevin O'Hare sad Monday there is "a sense of movement" in Woolf's writing that lends itself to dance.

The opera and ballet company's 2014-15 season also includes a new Philip Glass opera based on Franz Kafka's novel "The Trial."

The season opens in September with a revival of Mark-Anthony Turnage's opera "Anna Nicole," based on the life of Anna Nicole Smith. On opening night all tickets will go to students, for as little as 1 pound ($1.67).
