Fire engines on scene at London theatre; balcony believed to have collapsed

LONDON - Officials in London say a balcony is believed to have collapsed in a central London theatre during a performance.

London's fire department said Thursday that eight engines are on the scene at the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in the SoHo neighbourhood.

It added that a balcony is believed to have collapsed.

The Apollo theatre is currently showing "The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime."
