Prince William, Kate to visit Australia and New Zealand

FILE - This July 23, 2013 file photo shows Britain's Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge holding the Prince of Cambridge, as they pose for photographers outside St. Mary's Hospital exclusive Lindo Wing in London where the Duchess gave birth. Much has been said about the fashion sense of the Duchess of Cambridge but in 2013 it was something a bit different that caught our eye. Peeking out under her blue-and-white polka dot dress as she emerged from the hospital just after childbirth was a pronounced "mommy tummy," a perfectly normal development but something most celebrities keep under wraps, until their personal trainers have whipped them back into magazine-cover shape. LONDON - Palace officials say Prince William and his wife, Kate, will travel to New Zealand and Australia in the spring.

Kensington Palace said Thursday it is "anticipated" the young Prince George will accompany his parents, but that a final decision will be made "in due course."

The palace said the trip will take place in April 2014 and that William and Kate — known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — were invited by the New Zealand and Australian governments.

It said further details on the exact dates and itinerary will come "in due course."

The Duchess of Cambridge hasn't visited either country. William last visited New Zealand and Australia in March 2011, shortly after an earthquake hit Christchurch and floods hit areas of Queensland and Victoria.
