Britain's Prince Harry to visit Lesotho and South Africa on behalf of his children's charity

LONDON - Officials say that Prince Harry will visit Lesotho and South Africa at the end of February on behalf of a charity that he co-founded.

St. James's Palace said Monday that the 28-year-old prince will spend Feb. 25-26 visiting the charity's programs in Lesotho, before attending a gala dinner in Johannesburg on his third evening.

The charity, Sentebale — which means "forget-me-not" — was founded by Harry and Lesotho's Prince Seeiso to help children affected by poverty and HIV in the tiny southern African country.

Harry, who is third in line to the throne, was last in Lesotho in June 2010 when he took his brother William to see Sentebale's work.

Harry recently completed a deployment to Afghanistan, where he spent 20 weeks as co-pilot gunner on an Apache attack helicopter.
