Enjoy a bit of sunshine while you can in the Okanagan, Kamloops

FILE PHOTO

There should be a bit of sunshine in the Okanagan and Kamloops today, but that’s likely the last of it for at least a week.

The Environment Canada online forecast calls for highs of 16 Celsius in Kamloops today, Oct. 21, 15 C in Penticton but only 11C in Kelowna and Vernon.

The rest of the week is showing mostly clouds, showers and rain through to at least Wednesday with highs from 10 C to 12 C in the Okanagan and 13 C to 15 C in Kamloops.

The AccuWeather forecast is brighter, calling for a bit more sunshine in the Okanagan throughout the week but rain and possibly snow by next Thursday.

Its outlook for Kamloops is similar to Environment Canada’s forecast, with no sunshine.

The Weather Channel's forecast is also similar to Environment Canada's and has no mention of snow over the next 10 days.
