Eclectic lineup for Music in the Park's return to Kamloops this summer

The much-loved Music in the Park is returning to Kamloops this summer with a fresh and funky musical lineup.

It is the first time the family-friendly daily concerts in Riverside Park are happening since the COVID pandemic forced them to stop in 2019.

“This signature summer classic has been a part of Kamloops’s cultural and entertainment scene since 1994,” the City said in a recent post on its website.

“This summer concert season brings a variety of blues, rock, classics, country, tribute bands and more that will appeal to the whole family.”

The free performances take place at the Riverside Park Rotary Bandshell each evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. weather and air quality permitting.

Cancellation of a show is at the discretion of the evening performer and the schedule is subject to change without notice, the city said.

Parking is free at Riverside Park during July and August except when there are special events at Sandman Centre.
