On Dec. 30 at approximately 1 a.m., the Kelowna Fire Department responded to a report of a shed on fire in an alleyway behind a residence in the 600 block of Roanoke Avenue.

Upon arrival, the first engine reported the 20x20 shed was fully involved, according to a fire department media release. The exterior of the shed was de-energized, and then the interior fire was extinguished.

The fire will be investigated today but has not been deemed suspicious.

There were no injuries, and no one was displaced.

The fire department responded with 15 personnel three engines, a command vehicle and a rescue truck.
