Women who died on Gordon Drive lost control after medical emergency

KELOWNA – A woman whose SUV crashed on Gordon Drive Monday had a medical emergency and died at the scene.

Global Okanagan reports paramedics attempted CPR on the woman, believed to be in her 40's, but were unable to save her after her Hyundai Santa Fe crossed the southbound lanes and collided with a tree.

The accident happened in the 2600 block of Gordon Drive at around 2:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1. 

The woman, whose name has not been released, was the sole occupant.
