KELOWNA - It’s a bit like Dragon’s Den for techies and it’s coming to the Okanagan for the first time ever.
Fundica Roadshow Okanagan touches down in Kelowna next week. Up to 20 local technology companies can apply to pitch the Fundica panel.
Top pitches are eligible for prizes including three months free office space in San Francisco and airfare for a trip to pitch Silicon Valley investors.
Companies must be registered in Canada, have a technological focus, at the “seed or funding stage” and expect less than 50 per cent revenue growth next year.
Fundica’s Peter Elkins will host a day-long seminar looking at how companies can best secure developmental funding from both the public and private sectors.
Fundica Roadshow Okanagan will be held on Friday, April 8 at the Kelowna Yacht Club.
