KAMLOOPS - Residents of Kamloops will see a moderate increase for on-street parking fees in the city's downtown core.
Starting Jan. 1 2019, the rates will be $1.50 per hour for the first two hours and $3 for the third hour, according to a City of Kamloops media release.
The changes come after an amendment to the 2018 city traffic bylaw.
The City would also like to remind residents of the Whoosh! mobile parking app. The pay-by-phone parking app allows you to pay for parking from anywhere using a smartphone and there is no additional fee for using the app.
Residential parking passes are also made available for pickup at the main floor of city hall through the Victoria Street West entrance.
