PENTICTON – Journey has included Penticton and the South Okanagan Events Centre on their Canadian tour.

Expect the group’s rock anthem Don’t Stop Believin’ to be featuring during the encore. It’s one of the top-selling catalog tracks in digital history, according to a media release. It was featured in the first season of the hugely successful TV show Glee 30 years after it’s original release.

Co-founder Neal Schon (lead guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), co-founder Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums) and Arnel Pineda (lead vocals) are the creative force behind hits like Wheel in the Sky, Separate Ways and Faithfully.

Journey has produced 19 Top 40 singles, 25 gold and platinum albums and has sold over 15 million records.

The Canada-only summertime tour is a first for the band, who have never played in Penticton before. The tour kicks off in Winnipeg on July 6 and wraps in St. John’s on Aug. 2.

Tickets for the Friday, July 10, 2015 show at the SOEC go on sale Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices are $49, $69, $89 and $109 plus taxes and service charges. You can buy them in person at the Valley First Box Office or the Wine Country Visitor Centre, by phone at 1-877-763-2849 and on line at
